Auringonnousun puna pilvissä ja usva pehmentämässä ääriviivat. Teki mieli napata valokuva, mutta äkkiä tilanne muuttui. Synkkä pilvipeite työntyi yli taivaan. Helsinki-Vantaan mittauspisteessä oli pilvisyys ollut 1/8 ja lämpötila 6 °C. Meillä ikkunanpielessä mittari näytti viittä astetta. Pilvisyys 2/8 -> 8/8. Vertailu muiden mittauspaikkojen välillä klo 8.30 näytti ilman lämpiävän Helsinkiin päin mentäessä: Hki-Vantaa 5.9, Kumpula 6.8, Kaisaniemi 7.1 ja Rautatientori 8.5.
Tunti on kulunut ja kuvan näkymä tavanomainen. Sadekin on alkanut, vaikka ennusteen mukaan sitä oli luvassa vasta iltapäivällä. Suunnittelin meneväni Hakunilaan jalan, kun kalenterini muistutti, että minulla on siellä tapaaminen terveydenhoitajan kanssa klo 12.15. Taidan mennä bussilla.
